Noisy passengers

How To Move Forward With Your Mental Blocks

In this episode of Creatives Crushing Anxiety, I chat with the hilarious Olivia Pener from OliviaPener.com. I met Olivia in a Facebook group we are both in. We had a skype call together and automatically hit it off and now we’re mastermind buddies. I had to do some serious editing on this episode because we ended up chatting for about 3 hours! That is how much awesome information Olivia has to share.  Olivia is a business mindset coach. She helps online business owners who struggle with overwhelm and the limiting beliefs we all face. She helps them identify the things in their minds that stop them from accomplishing their goals and making actions. Olivia doesn’t tell her clients to ignore the “noisy passengers” in the vehicle of your mind but to drive with them. I seriously have gotten bolder online just by being friends with Olivia.

In this episode:

  • Common blocks people face when starting their business.
  • Why personal experience is vital for success and progress
  • How to acknowledge your passengers and why the things you don’t want to hear seem to be the loudest.
  • The reason community is so important in online business.
  • Why knowing where you’re going will help you deal with self-doubt.
  • How to not categorize your feelings as negative.

How amazing that she gave you three hours of footage and the fact that you struggled to cut it down is testament to how amazing her advice must have been. I have added the podcast to my to watch list and I hope it can help me get past some mental blocks of my own! x

  2. Jeanne Marie

This is so helpful. You don’t even understand!

I love that quote; At the end of the day you have to write your own path! It really hits home with me

  4. Evelyn Lo Foreman

The quick answer to your last question: Florence Henderson, of course! Our Brady Bunch mom was always so kind, patient and compassionate – having it all together. I suppose I really needed her to balance real life <3 . She was great! Evelyn, PathofPresence

  5. Jane Dee Wylie

My celebrity mom was Kitty from that 70’s show. I just love her. ha ha. This is some great advice. I’m so glad I came across it.

  6. Rachael Burow

Omg I love this. I always looked up to Kristie Allan (haha I know) but she was the one woman mary kate and ashley dad fell in love with in one of my favorite childhood movies (It takes two) so it made me love her!

I’ve never really had a celeb mom crush but my parents were always there to support me when I had mental/life blocks while growing up.

These have great takeaways! I agree that mental blocks are a pain and sometimes we are our worst enemies when it comes to that. Helpful tips!

The funny thing is we are mastermind buddies so we end up just chatting and even after we stopped recording I think we only ended the call because I hadn’t had dinner or something lol

That’s awesome. We were both like, “My mom was awesome but I always kind of wanted to be adopted.” I guess we wanted both haha.

For sure. I think realizing what your mental blocks are and what triggers them the sooner you can move forward.
