It’s officially October and let me say thank goodness. I love October, it means football, cooler weather, and fall TV. Like the rest of the year, last month flew by and was super busy and only a few days into October and it’s already been a busy month. This month I am in super launch mode! I am so excited! Seriously I am…I say this yawning after a flight from a wedding to watch two of my best friends say I do in Houston. Check these guys out, sorry I love to blog about my friends and their love (P.S. I was apart of the crew that set them up). Look at these gorgeous people.

Okay, I’m done gushing. Let’s do a recap on the month of September and see how I did.

September Goals

Personal Goals

  • Read one book this month.

Flopped! This month has been crazy with a lot of different things and a large percent of my time has been spent working on my E-course and preparing for it to launch. I am reading a book but it’s few nd far in between right now it’s really just “bathroom reading.”

  • Clean out the books and papers in my office.

I did. In fact, I’ve even been using it a lot more. Mostly for recording audio and video chatting with other bloggers.

Blog and Freelance Goals

  • Finish the scheduling for the e-course marketing.

It was not all smooth sailing that is for sure. But a lot of work has been done and a lot more to do. I’m very excited!

  • Have 440 Facebook page likes

489! Almost at 500! This has been one of the hardest and slowest to grow but it’s happening!

  • Have 2300 Twitter Followers

2399! Just one follow short of hitting my goal plus 100! Feeling really good.

  • Have 800 Instagram Followers

914! I am so happy about this! I’m almost nervous at the idea of shooting for the full 1000 in October.

  • Have 640 Pinterest Followers

731! I wish I could say, “I got this up by doing XYZ.” The truth is I don’t know what one thin helped me accomplish this. I did start scheduling pins opposed to just posting when I had time. I’m using the lowest version of board booster but just signed up last week so hopefully, this will continue to help my Pinterest and traffic  grow,

  • Create at least one new Resource for my Resource Library

Yes! You can grab the Tash Crusher worksheet here!

  • Post at least 7 times this month

Focusing on my launch I only did 6 this month but I am really happy with my progress and the post I published this month.

  • Publish 1 post on another site.

I actually did 2 guest posts this month. Woot Woot!

Maybe guys should try asking someone out before complaining they’ve been friend zoned

How to Make Time for Fitness When You Just Aren’t Motivated

  • Spend at least 10 minutes a day engaging on each of the above social media sites. That means repinning, responding to tweets of others or seeing what their links are, etc.

Thanks to Todoist I have been keeping track and doing this well.

  • Update 2 older posts

Yes and no. I have been working on adding audio files and my e-book so while I didn’t do the traditional post update I try to do but I did do a lot of work on the site.

Health and Fitness

  • Walk 7,000 steps a day

I feel like I walk a thousand miles a day. I know I didn’t hit it every day but I did really get my muscle going and after a doctor visit discovered that my muscle mass is up  (that’s not from steps but from meeting with a trainer).

  • Make meals at home 80% of the time or only eat out 4 times of the week.

I am a garbage person who eats garbage. Seriously, I just ordered a pizza. I haven’t been cooking as much as I’d like to this past month but I have been trying to eat healthier options when going out instead of deep fried fat.

  • Go to a gym class at least 3 times a week.

I hit every month this week except this past week I only made it twice. I had kind of a rough week and with the weather drop allergies arose.

I feel pretty good about September and all the progress I made. I’m super excited for what October will bring. I have some good friends coming into town, lots going on with All The Things I Do!

October Goals

Personal Goals

  • Figure out if I’m moving apartments in December and if so find said apartment.
  • Clean car out. I tend to keep it pretty clean but I really want to detail the inside.
  • I also want to find a body shop to fix the damage from the hail storms in the spring.
  • I have had a crazy year and really want to print some of the photos from this year for my home and office.
  • Have a safe and fun Halloween. Also, I’m curious what you guys are doing for Halloween, I have no idea what to be. Thinking of getting “A girl has no costume shirt.”

Blog and Freelance Goals

  • Market and share The Balanced Side Hustle like crazy!
  • Finish the content for my Start here page.
  • Do the two sponsored posts I have in the funnel.
  • Have 500 Facebook page likes
  • Have 2450 Twitter Followers
  • Have 1000 Instagram Followers
  • Have 740 Pinterest Followers
  • Create at least one new Resource for my Resource Library
  • Post at least 7 times this month
  • Publish 1 post on another site.
  • Spend at least 10 minutes a day engaging on each of the above social media sites. That means repinning, responding to tweets of others or seeing what their links are, etc.
  • Crush the webinar I have coming up October 9th!

I find writing down my goals helps me in working towards them. I have been trying to read more, I love reading and have to allow myself the time to relax and do it.

  12. Heidi

You’re so smart to write your goals down. That’s a great way to make yourself accountable. Way to go!
