On laziness…

“No masterpiece was ever created by a lazy artist.”
-Anonymous

My Thoughts: Don’t get me wrong, I am a huge fan of a lazy Sunday morning, (or Saturday morning or Monday morning if it’s a three-day weekend) but laziness does not create masterpieces. Sometimes you have to buckle down and work hard if you want to create a masterpiece. The word masterpiece could represent anything, a loving healthy relationship, a novel, a fulfilling career, a family. Nothing in life comes free, you have to work for it. Decide what you want and work for it! I’ll let you in on a secret… the hard part is deciding what you want your masterpiece to be. Once you’ve decided whats important to you, what drives you, what your passion is… the work is more bearable because you have an end goal in sight.

Announcement dear readers:

Right now I am trying to figure out the next phase of my career (I’ll share more about this in a blog to come). I am figuring out my path with the help of a blogger I really admire, Sarah, from The Laughing Medusa (as well as some very patient loved ones… Michelle, Karen, Daniel, thanks for listening :)). Seriously she is one badass lady, she quit her job in Canada and moved to London (yeah London, England!), I don’t want to butcher her amazing story, so please check it out on her website. She recently created a workbook for her readers to Define your Dreams and Design your life. I am currently working her program. Check out her site and workbook here.

Do it for love,
Dia
